At the Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 11th February 2010 members agreed not to increase the Precept. The Precept for 2010/2011 was set at £16,000

The Parish Council are actively supporting the residents of Woolley Grange in their efforts to stop the spoil tip development. Over 700 objections have been sent to WMDC about this application. Woolley Grange Residents Association are actively involved in organising meeting for all those who may be affected and keeping everyone uptodate. The Parish Council have objected and will continue to monitor the situation.

The Memorial Garden, Haigh now has a brand new wood carved notice board, this will help the Parish Council keep Haigh residents upto date with what is happening in the Parish

At last the long awaited new Bus Shelter has arrived and will keep those residents using public transport dry and chill free during inclement weather.

The Garden along Haigh Lane is now complete, a new notice board has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it arrives.
